Cinnamon Coconut Water Kefir Recipe
7 cups of fresh coconut water
5 tablespoons of water kefir grains
1 Ceylon cinnamon stick
How to make it:
-take a ½ gallon jar, pour the coconut water , add the kefir grains and the cinnamon stick;
-cover the jar loosely and leave it for 48 hours.
-DON’T keep it for more than two days, the over-fermentation can cause an explosion.
After 48 yours, the color becomes lighter and the kefir grains lift up to the top of the jar.
This is the time for you to remove the grains so that you can immediately re-use them or store them in water in the fridge.
